Application form for Group Visits

Please read the Notes on Application below before completion the application form.

Notes on Application:

1.

The completed application form should be submitted at least 3 weeks in advance of the intended date of visit. Application is accepted up to 1 month in advance.

 

2.

If no reply is received from the Public Records Office (PRO) 10 working days after submitting the application form, please contact the Reference Service at 2195 7724.

  
3.The visit usually lasts for an hour, which includes an introduction of PRO holdings and services, Integrated Information Access System (IIAS), and a visit to the exhibition hall.

Application Procedures:

1.

Please submit the completed electronic application form to the Public Records Office or send the completed application form to the Reference Service, 1/F, Hong Kong Public Records Building, 13 Tsui Ping Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon or fax to 2804 6413.

 

2.

Successful application will be confirmed in writing.

 

3.

New application is required for any change of the date or time of visit.

 

4.

The PRO reserves the right to decide whether to approve an application. If any information provided by the applicant is found to be untrue, the PRO reserves the right to withdraw the approval.


The personal data provided by means of the form will be used for application for school/organisation visits of the Public Records Office. You have the right to request access to and to correct personal data in accordance with Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Enquiries concerning the personal data, including the request for access and correction, please address to the Assistant Archivist (Reference Service).
